Many dogs and some cat breeds suffer from inherited eye diseases. The aim of the block seminar is to provide an insight into the occurrence (proven or suspected) of inherited eye diseases in animals and the current state of knowledge on the mode of inheritance and genetic defects. Components of the seminar are a preparatory e-learning platform, overview lectures, group work and presentations. On the first day of the course, the topic and course planning will be outlined in a short introduction. Participants receive their topics and documents in the form of book chapters and/or articles. In the block course, the participants' papers are presented in combination with overview presentations and discussed in the group. close
