Bacterial toxins are triggers and pathogenicity factors in a whole range of diseases relevant to veterinary medicine and human medicine, e.g. botulism, anthrax, enteritis. The seminar sheds light on the function of different toxin families and shows at the molecular level how these complex molecules induce a specific clinical picture in the host and contribute to pathogenesis close
