Comments
In this course students will read, discuss, and present „classic“ papers in Ecology and Evolution. This will enable students to understand how major ideas have developed, how some findings became influential and how some vanished.
Learning objectives:
To read a selection of classic papers; to summarise and explain papers to an audience in a simplified way; to formulate take home messages; to evaluate the broader significance of the findings and assess whether the ideas have stood the test of time; to formulate questions and comments from reading the classic papers; to develop group work-, feedback- and discussion skills; to assemble knowledge about how major ideas developed. close
