Das PjS kann nur in Kombination mit dem zugehörigen PjS "Projektbezogenes Arbeiten in Berlin Fernerkundung nd GIS" belegt werden.
Comments
Objectives: Students are able to independently plan a small research project, collect data, evaluate the collected data, answer a scientific question they have posed themselves and present the results. The module qualifies students to independently evaluate and present research results and prepares them for the Bachelor's thesis. Contents: The students deal with the relevance and functions of urban trees and forests using the example of Berlin. In the seminar, we will theoretically and practically develop various advanced remote sensing techniques to analyze tree parameters. Students will work together to develop environmentally relevant questions and create suitable study designs. Primary and proxy data will be collected in the field and then evaluated using suitable analysis methods. Finally, the results are evaluated and presented.
For successful participation in the module, students must take part in both the seminar (PjS) and the teaching research project (LFP). Students therefore only need to register for the project seminar. Registration for the LFP then takes place automatically.
