The module provides content on soil ecology, especially on the topic of plant-soil-microorganism interactions, soil diversity, and study design in ecology. The lecture will cover general content in soil ecology, discussing both symbiotic soil biota and free-living ones. Treated groups of soil biota include: eubacteria, archeae, eumycota and other fungi, roots, microarthrpods, etc. In the seminar, the focus is on the analysis of primary literature, using classical as well as recently published literature, also in consultation with the interests of the course participants. close
