Cultivation and identification of fungi. Production and phenotypic characterization of knock-out mutants and expression strains: Application of genome editing using CRISPR/Cas9 in the melanized fungus Knufia petricola and heterologous expression of K. petricola genes in baker's yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
