Comments
Students will be introduced to molecular biology and metabolic engineering methods, including the key technique of growth-coupling for constructing selection strains. In addition to that, students will also learn the fundamentals of metabolic modeling and how to apply it to strain design. As part of the seminar, students will prepare and present a journal club on a recent publication in the field, followed by a group discussion.
