How do group dynamics, identity, and social norms shape the way we learn, connect, and see ourselves?
Whether in friend groups or classrooms, social dynamics shape how we participate, connect, and see ourselves. Drawing on key theories and principles from social psychology, this course examines how group dynamics, social identity, belonging, norms, power, bias, and intergroup processes shape social environment and affect social and emotional development.
Students will learn to bridge theory and practice by applying social psychological insights to real educational contexts. Through discussion, reflection, and applied strategies, the course equips future educators with tools to cultivate inclusive, equitable, collaborative, and psychologically safe classrooms where all students can thrive—socially, emotionally, and academically.
This Course is offered in ENGLISH language.
