S The Structure and Function of Neural Circuits II

Gerit Linneweber, Mathias Wernet

Information for students

Additional module information: The Structure and Function of Neural Circuits II

Additional information / Pre-requisites

This course is linked and forms one continuous unit together with ‘The Structure and Function of Neural Circuits I’

Comments

The individual topics covered in the lecture will be discussed in a journal club where this insight will be consolidated by reading recent research publications (molecular neuroanatomy, cellular basis of behavior and its disruption, visualization of neuronal activity using genetically encoded activity sensors, transcriptomics, and disease). Knowledge about modern, relevant research techniques will be acquired and applied. One research paper will be orally presented. close
