Qualifikationsziele:
Die Studentinnen und Studenten sind in der Lage, stabile Isotope in Bereichen der Klimarekonstruktionen, biogeochemischer
Stoffkreisläufe, rezenter und fossiler Ökosysteme anzuwenden. Grundlagen in der Analysetechnik
stabiler Isotope werden gelegt.
Inhalte:
Grundlagen der Isotopenanalytik, Nomenklatur und Isotopensysteme (vornehmlich O/C/N). Darlegung der prozessgesteuerten
Isotopenverteilungen in heutigen Ökosystemen und Anwendungsbeispiele aus der Erdgeschichte.
