In diesem Seminar erforschen wir die Rolle der Sprache und sprachlicher Handlungen im Zusammenhang mit Strafverfolgung im engeren und dem Rechtssystem im weiteren Sinne. Wir beleuchten die forensische Linguistik sowohl im angloamerikanischen als auch im deutschen Raum und analysieren insbesondere verschiedene mündliche und schriftliche Textgattungen, die im Rahmen der Strafverfolgung und eines Gerichtsverfahrens relevant sind. Dazu holen wir außerdem die Expertise einer Kollegin vom Bundeskriminalamt ein. Studierende bringen sich aktiv in die Veranstaltung durch eine Posterpräsentation zu einem ausgewählten Thema in der forensischen Linguistik ein.
