        The seminar teaches a social research design perspective informed by symbolic interactionist and more broadly interpretive approaches. We discuss principles and basic methods of data collection and analysis of qualitative interviews and apply the acquired knowledge in a small empirical research project. The seminar is open to the topics of the participants and is intended to support them in their first considerations for master thesis topics.        close
