The Center for Continuing Education at Freie Universität Berlin views itself as a bridge between academia and the research sector and society at large. It offers continuing and professional education for employees of Freie Universität Berlin and other higher education institutions, research and cultural institutions, and even members of the community who are interested in pursuing further education.

These programs and classes allow participants to update and expand their own skills and abilities on an ongoing basis and to engage in dialogue with experts and colleagues.

We develop customized, innovative learning and study arrangements geared toward specific target groups and content. Our offerings undergo continuous improvement in coordination with scholars, scientists, and experts from Freie Universität Berlin and based on the results of surveys of demand and course evaluations.
