As an international network university and through its institutional strategy “Veritas – Justitia – Libertas,” Freie Universität Berlin, in cooperation with its partners, promotes sustainable networking on regional, national, and international levels.

Junges Wissenschaftsforum Dahlem acts as a platform for the development and exchange of ideas. It is aimed at junior researchers at Freie Universität Berlin and its partners on the Berlin-Dahlem Research Campus.

The forum promotes networking among junior professors, heads of junior research groups, research assistants, postdocs, and advanced doctoral candidates by offering them opportunities to look beyond the boundaries of their respective disciplines and participate in shared activities.

The diversity and density of research institutions in Berlin’s Dahlem district make the forum the ideal point of departure for stimulating discussions among colleagues. Here, junior researchers can present original research ideas and build lasting relationships.

The forum is managed by the Center for Research Strategy (CRS) at Freie Universität Berlin. It includes a series of discussions on current topics relevant to junior researchers as well as informational events on specific options for support and advising.

All members of Junges Wissenschaftsforum Dahlem also have the opportunity to apply for their own interdisciplinary workshops and realize these with support from the CRS. Anyone who has attended an event is considered a member.
