The Welcome guest study program for refugees enables you to attend lectures or seminars in a chosen degree program and, in some cases, earn credits that can be added to your studies later on. To attend lectures or seminars, it is necessary to prove that you have adequate basic German or English language skills, depending on the language in which the course is taught (at least B1 level is recommended). The general requirements for participation need to be fulfilled. Generally, attending lectures and seminars is only granted in arrangement with the lecturer.

Please note: A participation in the guest study program does not equal an enrollment as a student at Freie Universität. if you want to study at Freie Universität, you will have to apply via uni-assist.
