On behalf of all our library colleagues, we would like to welcome you to Freie Universität Berlin and congratulate you on taking up your professorship! To help you settle into your new position and get started in research and teaching, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our starter package services as a university library. With our starter kit, we offer all newly appointed professors (initial) needs-based introductions to working with the FU libraries.
Depending on your individual needs, we will present these services to you in more detail in a personal consultation - in German or English - and work with you to develop tailor-made support options that we can offer you as a university library. In addition to your personal contact person in the library, you will get to know other colleagues who will provide you with targeted support in various areas of your everyday life at Freie Universität. We will also be happy to take a look at an additional budget that you can use to realize a personal request together with the university library. We can also combine our discussion with an individual tour of your subject library. If you are interested, please make a note of this when arranging your personal consultation appointment. Of course, we would also be happy to have someone from your team accompany you.
