The University Library will consider requests from all libraries in Europe. We accept requests via email or post and will provide this service to libraries which participate in the IFLA voucher scheme.
All loans are strictly for library use only and cannot be taken out of the borrowing library for home reading.
We are happy to offer two free renewals per item, providing it has not been recalled by our own readers. Please contact us by email to request a renewal.
The University Library lends a considerable percentage of the collections except:
Also certain materials that are out of copyright cannot be copied under the Interlibrary Loans (ILL) service, i.e. books in their entirety.
Please note, that items located in departmental libraries (= Campus Library and libraries from unit 2-8) are not participating in the ILL service.
The only payment method is IFLA vouchers.
Our international request charges are:
|Country||Loan (per volume)||Photocopy (50 pages or less)|
|US & Canada||-||1-2|
|Australia, NZ and rest of the world||-||1-2|
Please note, that there is no Interlibrary loan for books with libraries from the USA/Canada, South America, Asia, Australia/New Zealand - ILL service is available for photocopies only.
