Specialized Information Service Latin America, Caribbean and Latino Studies
With its web portal LACARinfo, the Specialized Information Service Latin America, Caribbean and Latino Studies supports research on the Latin American and Carribean region, including linguistics and literary studies.
In addition to its acquisition service of subject-specific literature and the provision of the extensive research platform IberoSearch, the SIS offers access to databases and digital copies on demand.
The SIS runs a blog, a blackboard to announce events and calls for papers within the specialist community and offers individual consultations regarding literature search with the FID presente format.
The service is provided by the Library of the Ibero-American Institute Berlin – Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
