With its portal Library of Anglo-American Culture & History (Library AAC), the Specialized Information Service Anglo-American Culture provides services for interdisciplinary subjects regarding the Anglo-American area, including linguistics and literature for research communities of for example American Studies or Canadian Studies.

In addition to this geographical approach and a general research portal, the SIS offers The Stacks, a comprehensive digital repository, and supports researchers in the administration of literature and research data.

Furthermore, the SIS facilitates workshops and promotes exchange within the research community it addresses.

The service is provided by the Göttingen State and University Library and the University Library of the Freie Universität Berlin.
