SIS Ancient Studies – Propylaeum
The Specialized Information Service Ancient Studies combines numerous subject areas on its Propylaeum portal, including Classical Philology as well as Medieval and Neo-Latin Philology.
In addition to providing subject-specific information resources, the SIS operates a comprehensive research portal that integrates numerous data sources relevant to the subject area covered.
Furthermore, the SIS supports researchers in electronic publishing, in dealing with research data and digital editions and focuses on expanding services in different areas, for example the provision of information resources, science communication or Linked Open Data.
The service is provided by Heidelberg University Library and the Bavarian State Library Munich.
