As part of International Open Access Week, the event "Berlin – City of Open Knowledge" invites stakeholders from academia, public administration, civil society, and culture to explore open data, transparent research, and collaborative formats across Berlin’s knowledge landscape.
Three interactive formats encourage inspiration, project exchange, and networking:
-
Keynote: Architect and urban researcher Dr. Dagmar Pelger offers insights into current challenges and future perspectives of open knowledge in Berlin.
Her talk highlights intersections between urban development and knowledge policy. -
Barcamp / Open Lab: Participants propose their own topics, present projects, and explore ideas for collaboration.
The open format encourages spontaneous contributions, new connections, and creative thinking. -
Panel Discussion: Experts from different sectors share perspectives on the future of open knowledge in Berlin, with input from the audience.
A Fishbowl setup ensures an inclusive and lively conversation.
