Conference on Challenges and Opportunities of All-Electricity for Technology Quarters.
News from Aug 14, 2019
Are all-electricity-concepts the future of quarter supply? The Business and Innovation Center next to Freie Universität Berlin Campus (FUBIC) will be built on the premises of the former US military hospital in Berlin Dahlem. Within the accompanying research project the Freie Universität Berlin, the RWTH Aachen and the WISTA Management GmbH are developing the concept for an all-electric, emission-free and cost-efficient energy supply. The Sustainability & Energy Management Unit of Freie Universität Berlin leads the research project "Social Science Research - Technology Acceptance, Stakeholder Analysis and Addressee-related Communication”. The research project in the field of non-residential buildings is unique in Germany.
On Thursday, September 19th 2019 first findings of the pilot project „FUBIC – All-Electricity for non-residential building quarters (FAE)“ will be presented. The introduction of the project will be complemented by presentations by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology. We invite the interested public to discuss challenges and opportunities of this energy supply concept with our expert panel and the research team.
Please register for the conference via email to Uta Lynar until August 18th 2019.
