Limiting food waste is easy!

On 22. November 2017 the new Food Sharing project at Freie Universität Berlin was started. It is the first project of its kind to be launched at a Berlin university. The FUdsharing room is a joint initiative of the volunteer group SUSTAIN IT! and the platform „www.foodsharing.de“. The idea is to create a place where food from wholesale and retail companies can be collected and shared with students as well as citizens living near the university. Products are in their original packaging but sometimes past the best-before date - the Fudsharing room offers it free of charge. Students, employees and other interested persons are welcome to donate spare food products in room KL24/140.

Opening: Wednesday, 22. November, 3 pm

Opening hours: (starting Monday, 27. November 2017): Mondays 12 am-6 pm, Tuesdays 2-6 pm, Thursdays 12 am- 4 pm
