Graduate School of Global Politics
The Graduate School of Global Politics (GSGP) is designed as a three-year doctoral program. It offers doctoral candidates in political science, social science, law, or business and economics a combination of academic research and practical experience, thereby preparing them for a career in a research-oriented profession.
This integrated German-Chinese program is founded on the cooperation between Freie Universität and Chinese partner universities, and integrates doctoral candidates from both countries. The candidates are supervised by well-known professors and scientists and spend up to twelve months research stays at the partner university. The structured curriculum includes theories of international relations, methods of social science, and communication skills.
