At Freie Universität the project is managed by Prof. Dr. Brigitta Schütt, vice president of the university, and Prof. Dr. Margreth Lünenborg, the academic director of the Center for the Promotion of Women's and Gender Studies at Freie Universität Berlin.

The Egyptian project partners are Cairo University, Alexandria University, Sohag University and South Valley University. The Strategic Planning Unit at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education provides additional support.
