With its newly launched Dahlem Junior Host Program, the Dahlem Humanities Center supports young researchers who would like to invite guest researchers from Germany or abroad to Freie Universität Berlin. The program enables them to host scholars whose research is of central interest for their own projects for a period of up to 8 weeks. The guests can be researchers at the same career level as their hosts as well as senior scholars. The funding of each guest project is flexible and complies with the needs of the applicants. Apart from the cooperation within the context of concrete individual project, the program aims at establishing international research networks.

In 2016, the Dahlem Humanities Center is funding six Junior Host projects.
