Every year, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Volkswagen Foundation offer fellowships at German universities and research institutes for postdoctoral researchers based in the U.S. Within this program, the Dahlem Humanities Center of Freie Universität Berlin (DHC) is one of 14 possible host institutions in Germany.
