Beatrice Gründler, Professor of Arabic Language and Literatures, Anita Traninger, Professor of Romance Languages and Literature, Matthias Warstat, Professor of Theater Studies, and  Paul Nolte, Professor of History, are the four new board members of the Dahlem Humanities Center. After nine years of successfully building up the Center’s program and international profile, founding Director Professor Joachim Küpper as well as board members Professor Erika Fischer-Lichte and Professor Klaus W. Hempfer have resigned from their posts. Professor Paul Nolte has been appointed new Director. Born in 1963, Paul Nolte is Professor of Modern History with an emphasis on Contemporary History at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut of Freie Universität Berlin. He is also managing editor and co-editor of a number of renowned academic journals and book series.
