Freie Universität Berlin, in collaboration with the Hertie School and Jadavpur University organised a policy dialogue, “Rethinking International Affairs in the Age of AI” held on 27 November 2025 at Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

The event brought together an inspiring group of students, researchers, faculty members, policymakers, and diplomatic representatives from numerous universities in Kolkata, namely JU, Presidency University, Calcutta University, Amity University, Maulana Azad University of Technology, St Xavier's College among others, to reflect on how artificial intelligence is reshaping global governance, cybersecurity, and international relations. Students submitted and read their papers at the event, which was followed by a panel discussion and Q & A session.

We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers, participants, and panelists for their enthusiastic engagement and meaningful contributions. Your insights made the dialogue rich, relevant, and forward-looking.
