Freie Universität Berlin India & South Asia office and Heidelberg University office for South Asia in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Indore organised a seminar and panel discussion on the topic "Digital Humanities and Infrastructures: Tools, Archives and Theory" on September 18-19, 2024 at IIT Indore Campus.

The event witnessed 1.5 days packed with insights into the intersection of humanities and digital technologies and brought together scholars, practitioners, and students to delve into the transformative role of digital tools and infrastructures in humanities research and will prove to be a great opportunity for master students, researchers, and professionals in Digital Humanities, Media Studies, Data Analysis, and related fields to enhance their knowledge in this growing area.

Our distinguished speakers from Freie Universität Berlin - Dr. Dennis Mischke, Head of Research and Publication Support at the Ada Lovelace Center for Digital Humanities, and Mr. Johannes Hercher, MA, MA-LIS, expert in Research and Publication Support, shared their insights on the transformative role of digital infrastructures in humanities research and discussed how digital tools and archives are reshaping research in the 21st century.
