Firstly, you are welcome to visit our website and find matching department and professor to see if there are interesting contact options for you. In addition, you are naturally open to contact us and explore the association of chosen FU professors from the network of India office in FUB. For a personal consultation, contact us!

First of all you should explore our website and refer to the matching professors and their work. You can contact us for suggestions but normally we advise to contact all the matching Professors with a good convincing proposal along with the motivation letter. You should customize your proposal each time according to the work and details of the professor. FUB Delhi Office do have database of our associated FU professors but we do not approach them on your behalf. You need to contact the professor to supervise you on your own first. We are involved and assist at the level of co-ordination and guidance only and we can recommend only when there is interest from FUB side else influence and interference from our side is not possible.

The inviting entity at the FU Berlin is able to provide you with an invitation letter for your stay in Germany, with which you can apply for a visa. However, you will have to organize your trip yourself (booking flights, transfers, etc.). Exchange students can apply for accommodation in a dormitory at the Studierendenwerk (link). Guest academics should discuss the question of accommodation with their host at the FU Berlin. For shorter stays there is the possibility of hotel and guesthouse accommodation near the campus, longer stays require an individual solution. The liaison office will also be happy to advise you. You can find general information on the organisation and implementation of stays here.
