The Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies offers up to one year of research support at Freie Universität Berlin. It is open to scholars from all social science and humanities disciplines, including historians working on German and European history since the mid-18th century.

Eligible applicants include doctoral candidates enrolled at universities outside Germany, and postdoctoral researchers who received their PhD from a non-German university within the last two calendar years or will obtain it before the fellowship begins.
