Study and Research in Germany - Infomation Event at Goethe-Institut Rio de Janeiro
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Technische Universität München, the University Alliance Metropolis Ruhr and Freie Universität Berlin inform about study and research opportunities in Germany.
The first part of the event, starting at 2.00 pm, will address opportunities for doing a Doctorate or Postdoc in Germany. Today, German Universities offer multiple ways to do a Doctorate in an international research environment, as for example in Structured and Interdiscplinary PhD Programs or traditionally through an Individual Doctorate. Most of the Doctoral Education is in English. German Universities also provide help to Junior Researchers in planning the next steps of their academic career, as for example FU Berlin through its Career Path Model. The event is a chance to get informed about advantages and details of these various ways of doctoral education.
The second part of the event starts at 4.00 pm and addresses undergraduates that want to study in Germany.
