The Berlin Center for Global Engagement (BCGE) offers international short-term travel grants for up to four-week stays at the Berlin University Alliance to foster cooperaton and research on, in and with the “Global South”. In case of approval, the BCGE can cover the costs for a flight (economy class only), accommodation, and a daily allowance.

 

Fundable Initiatives:

• Incoming (professor, postdoc, advanced PhD/researcher or academic stakeholder from the “Global South” to BUA): short-term travel grants for stays of up to four weeks
• Currently, outgoing initiatives (BUA-scholar to the “Global South”) can only be granted in exceptional cases. Please contact the BCGE starting the application process.
