This summer of 2022, IRGAC fellows taught an online seminar series titled “New Faces of Authoritarianism: Interdisciplinary Perspectives from the Global South”. The course was hosted by the Institut für Sozialwissenschaften at Humboldt University as part of the Chair for Comparative Political Science and Political Systems of Eastern Europe and additionally assisted by Off University. The course dossier edited by Ülker Sözen presents contributions by the participants composed of their works discussing conceptual issues and case studies on different topics regarding authoritarianism and counter-movements.
