Chinese Proficiency Test at Confucius Institute at Freie Universität

№ 73/2010 from Mar 31, 2010

A standardized international Chinese proficiency test will be given at the Confucius Institute at Freie Universität Berlin on May 16. Chinese language learners can check how well they master the language. The fees for the written test vary between 20 and 50 euros, depending on the learning level. Fees for the oral test range from 15 to 35 euros. Registration is possible until May 2.

The HSK test is comparable to the German TestDaF and the English TOEFL test. It is aimed primarily at individuals who wish to demonstrate their knowledge of Chinese for study and work purposes. Participants receive a certificate indicating their score report from the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban). The test consists of written and oral parts. The written test is divided into six different levels of difficulty, while the oral examination is given in the form of listening comprehension exercises for elementary, intermediate, and advanced learners. The test levels can be combined as required.

Time and Place:

  • Sunday, May 16, starting at 10 a.m.
  • Language labs at Freie Universität (Full details to be provided upon registration.)
