A Data Management Plan (DMP) describes how the research data created or used in a project is methodically managed throughout the project. It is a useful tool for reflecting on and improving one's research data management. It is also often a requirement by research funding organisations. This online workshop is aimed at researchers and doctoral candidates at any stage of their (PhD) project.
Content Part 1
- What is a DMP and which questions do I need to answer?
- What are the funders' requirements re. DMPs?
- Which tools and templates are available to implement a DMP?
Content Part 2 (optional)
- If you want to start working on a DMP or are already working on a DMP, the second part of the workshop is a hands-on session where you can start or continue working on your DMP, ask questions, give and receive feedback, discuss challenges with your peers and the workshop host (member of the research data management team).
