Is supervising doctoral students one of your many tasks? Would you like to learn how to better support your doctoral students?

This highly interactive course will not only help you develop your supervision skills, but also strengthen your ability to integrate Responsible Research Practices into the supervision process from the beginning. The course is designed for supervisors of all disciplines from the institutions of the Berlin University Alliance. It is offered as a two-stage program. In the basic module, the content and fundamentals are taught, ranging from questions of research culture and the teaching of Responsible Research Practices to a critical examination of the role and self-image of the supervisor. In a second module, building on the first course, a train-the-trainer course is offered, enabling participants to run the course independently at their institution in the future.
