Libraries have been at the digital forefront since computer labs were first offered to library users. AI is one more new digital technology that libraries will have to grapple with in service of their users. The Library track of Freie Universität’s International Staff Training Week 2024 will take a closer look at the innovations, challenges, and improvements that successive digitization waves have brought to libraries. The program will consist of a mix of inputs from FUB staff as well as external speakers, and include participants working on posters about various digital issues at their home institutions.
