Presentation of the Results of the Survey Regarding Future Work Arrangements at Freie Universität Berlin
Oct 05, 2023
An online informational event for employees will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023
Over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, many employees at Freie Universität Berlin came to view the option of working from home as a modern and practical alternative to the traditional workplace. Increased flexibility of working hours and workplaces has become a highly relevant subject in today’s labor market and a must-have for many workers.
With the goal of paving the way for a more modern and flexible work culture, employees at Freie Universität Berlin were asked to participate in an online survey regarding future work arrangements in summer of this year. Many made the most of this opportunity to express their views, concerns, and needs regarding greater flexibility of working hours and workplaces.
Now it is finally time to present the results of the survey. All employees of Freie Universität Berlin are cordially invited to an online informational event about the survey results on
Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CET) on Webex (link has already been sent to employees via email)
Please join us next Thursday for a presentation of the results by Florian Primig from the Department of Political and Social Sciences. Mr. Primig is a research associate at the Institute for Media and Communication Studies and was responsible for the planning, implementation, and analysis of the survey. After his presentation, he will be available to answer any questions you might have.
Then, Professor Verena Blechinger-Talcott and Andrea Güttner, Director of Administration and Finance (temporarily entrusted with the performance of official duties), will talk about the future of flexible work at our university in the wake of this survey and its findings.
