Prof. Xue Ling will visit Freie Universität Berlin on an UAS Senior Research Stay for one month in August.

Xue Ling is associate professor in Peking University’s School of Government and holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Economics. Moreover, Prof. Xue Ling is associate director of PKU’s Center for China Regional Economics Studies.
In April 2016, Prof. Xue Ling participated in the annual UAS Spring Campus and held a keynote on regional integrated planning and management in China with special regard to the influence of research. During his research stay, Prof. Xue Ling aims to develop joint research projects and thereby strengthen the relationship between Peking University and Freie Universität Berlin within the University Alliance for Sustainability Network. In mid-August he will be joined by three colleagues from the School of Government for a two day strategy meeting with FUB researchers. Beside talks with the Environmental Policy Research Center and the Unit for Sustainability and Energy Management, the PKU delegation will have a short workshop with FUB Professor Sahar Sodoudi’s working group “Urban Climate and Health” and explore options for joint research projects.
