Mr. Büser is Ph.D. candidate and associated with the section of Communication Policy and Media Economics in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin on a research project about Media Biographies and has also taught courses in the same field in an adjunct capacity in the same department. He has studied Communication and Media Studies and Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin and Sociology at Humboldt Universität Berlin, where he received his M.A. in 2011. In 2005 he took part in a one-year international study program at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. Together with Klaus Beck and Christiane Schubert, he has published „Medialer Habitus, mediales Kapital, mediales Feld – oder: vom Nutzen Bourdieus für die Mediennutzenforschung“ in Thomas Wiedemann and Michael Meyen, eds., Pierre Bourdieu und die Kommunikationswissenschaft.
