Academic Themes for the Interested Public

New Open Lecture Halls Series at Freie Universität to Begin April 8

№ 50/2013 from Mar 15, 2013

At the beginning of the 2013 spring/summer semester, four new lecture series in Freie Universität’s Open Lecture Halls program will be launched. Well-known scholars and scientists will give public talks on four different themes: epidemics in times of globalization, the environment and the arts, sustainability in academics, and transdisciplinary perspectives on architecture. Weekly lectures will be given in each series. All of them are open to the public. There is no charge for admission and no advance registration. Many of the individual lectures will be given in English. Please see the flyer for details.
