Scientists of Freie Universität Control Vehicle with iPhone

This is something you have only seen in movies! In “Tomorrow Never Dies” James Bond steers his car with a mobile phone. Turning cinematic fiction into reality, scientists at Freie Universität Berlin can now drive a car with a standard iPhone. It is even possible to park the vehicle using the mobile phone as a remote control.
At the site of the former Berlin Tempelhof Airport, project leader Prof. Raúl Rojas and his team will demonstrate how they can steer the “Spirit of Berlin,” the vehicle they have equipped with complex electronics, by using a mobile phone as a remote control. Interested journalists are invited to a
