Program for the Long Night of the Sciences available online
№ 097/2007 from May 22, 2007
During the Long Night of the Sciences, almost 90 institutes and departments of Freie Universität will be offering an extensive program for all age- and interest groups. The themes will range from molecules to ecosystems, from business and management, the Earth and outer space, bits and bytes, to film and media, various cultures and languages of the world, and from questions of law to everything about animals or human beings.
The detailed program (in German) is available on the home page of Freie Universität Berlin by clicking on the box in the left column marked Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2007. There is also information on the special shuttle-bus service in Dahlem as well as maps of the various campus locations. Under the rubric “Heute im Blickpunkt” individual projects or themes of the Long Night of the Sciences will be presented. Last-minute changes or news will also be announced here.
There is a special shuttle-bus service for visitors to the three locations of Freie Universität and the other participating science organizations in Dahlem. In addition to a BVG-shuttle bus every 15 minutes, there will be three bus routes beginning at the Rost- and Silberlaube on Habelschwerdter Allee 45. They will depart every 10 minutes and stop at all the participating locations in Dahlem.
