Wer hat im gelenkten Mediensystem der DDR Unterhaltung produziert und wie sahen diese Angebote aus? Mit welchen Vorstellungen gingen Männer und Frauen in einem Mediensystem ihrer Arbeit nach, in dem auch Unterhaltung Parteizielen dienen sollte? Und was produzierten sie für Fernsehen und Radio, Kino und Zeitschriften? Welche Spielräume gab es und wie unterschieden sich diese? Im Seminar wird zuerst Grundlagenwissen über Medienstrukturen in der DDR sowie ein theoretischer Rahmen erarbeitet. Auf dieser Basis werden anschließend mithilfe von Forschungsliteratur und Quellen ausgewählte Unterhaltungsangebote und Akteure betrachtet.
