Das Basisseminar vermittelt im Zusammenspiel mit der Vorlesung Grundlagen für die Analyse lyrischer, erzählender und dramatischer Texte und gibt einen Einblick in das literaturwissenschaftliche Arbeiten. Der Umgang mit Sekundärliteratur, Arbeitstechniken wie Bibliografieren und Zitieren sowie Themenfindung und Strukturierung einer Hausarbeit werden eingeübt. Die Texte, die wir lesen und interpretieren werden, sind locker durch das Themenfeld »Fremde/Fremdheit« miteinander verbunden.
