This course deals with the basic principles of the transmission of infectious agents in animal husbandry, veterinary practice and the environment. Hygiene and biosecurity measures for various application scenarios are presented with the aim of effectively preventing the entry, transmission and spread of infectious agents and ensuring patient and personal/user protection.
