Die Lehrveranstaltung bietet eine grundlegende Einführung in die Arbeit mit literarischen Texten aus dem gesamten Gattungsspektrum mit historischen Schwerpunkten um 1650, um 1800 und um 1920. Vermittelt werden elementare Methoden des Fachs und Arbeitstechniken des Studiums (Bibliographieren, Recherchieren, Zitieren). Voraussetzung für eine Bestätigung der aktiven Teilnahme sind wöchentlich anzufertigende, kurze schriftliche Vorbereitungen.
