Angele Breithaupt, Olivia Kershaw
Information for students
Tow appointments : Introduction to working in research (doctoral thesis, PhD and career opportunities) and how to publish in research ('peer-review') as well as topic assignment: publications on 'Emerging and re-emerging diseases'. Gladly 2 students per topic. Follow-up appointments: Participants present a pathogen based on a current publication: brief molecular-virological classification of the pathogen, 'epidemic' situation, clinic, (histo)pathology; question of the publication and results. This is followed by a joint discussion. The focus is on the handling of the publication and not primarily on the technical content
